My favorite dish. I put it on fried rice and eat it, I can't stop eat! The owner is a movie actor and a nice guy.
Fortuna has become my #1 go-to Chinese restaurant in Seattle because I've yet to order anything that didn't just wow me. This dish, the HK Crispy Chow Mein was the epitome of that. I was blown away. I've never had anything like it. Crispy noodles with a delicious meat and veggie brown sauce that you put on top. The texture is a show stopper and the taste was perfect. Definitely give this one a try.
I was never a big wonton person until I was told this was a must-try -- and it was SOO good. They're a nice size and the taste was flavorful. Definitely recommend!
OH MY GOD, these are so good. I can't entirely describe it but they do something with the chili oil that gives it a distinctive flavor that i've only ever experienced in high end hot pot restaurants. My family fights over these when we order them...so good. The rest of the menu is fantastic too but the wonton's are always first.
Get this to-go. The sauce is provided in a separate container so you can add the sauce to the noodles as you go and have crispy noodles all the way to end. AND you can keep the sauce to have it over rice later.
* Dry fried pork intestine ($12.95 pre-tax) - This was different than what we've eaten typically from other sichuanese restaurants and the pork intestine pieces weren't deep fried and then mixed with veggies. But overall the dish was decent and came with onions/bell peppers/celery in a black bean sauce. 4/5 stars
Wasn't sure what to expect at first..tried it. Very delicious.. Clear large size noodles with minced pork in chili sauce. A must.
Best orange chicken; Tender with good size chicken cuts.
My favorite. Best value in town.
i love this! it's so good. the flavours are wonderful without being overwhelming. it's not too spicy, so anyone can order it and have a great experience.
All the lunch specials are great but the Kung pao chicken is my favorite! Very saucy and flavorful. Definitely has a kick to it!
My roommate orders 2 of these now, because we just can't get enough! The spice level isn't crazy, and the numbness can be a little jarring for people who aren't used to Szechuan spice. Don't think we can get food from Fortuna without getting this dish.
O.M.G. I'm so glad I read the review below because it made me get it and this dish is everything. If you like spicy food, watch out, because you'll get addicted. Tender fish and Szechuan spice, yes please!
Amazing dish! I had this twice in 1 week....last week and can't stop thinking about it. I think I'll be back for a take out order today.
The Dan Dan noodles here is so delicious. Just spicy and numbing enough to enjoy the flavors, and really great value too! The service is really nice and they give ice cream at the end to top it off.
Glass noodles smothered in numbing spicy goodness with bits of ground pork mixed in. I love ordering this to share and eat with white rice on the side and another protein dish. Definitely a big portion for 1, but if you don't want to share, it still tastes good later as leftovers.
I grew up eating these in New York and haven't found a match in 21 years here...until now! You must start your delicious meal with these!
My favorite dish to get off of the lunch menu! I always order this with some dan dan noodles— slight heat and sweet but perfectly balanced out with my rice!
This is the best general tso's tofu in Seattle!
Pork chopped into slivers. Very firm tofu, possibly baked, also chopped into slivers. A light, savory sauce similar to oyster sauce. Mixed together and perfect over rice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I get this almost every time I order. So tasty fresh and as left overs.
Cumin lamb dish was great; lots of cumin and numbing oil flavor with onions/jalapenos/bell pepper. The lamb was tender. 5/5 stars however the accompanying rice was dry. The takeout lunch specials didnt come with soup/tea so Im guessing those are only available for in-person dining.
Savory, tender and cooked just right. Excellent taste.
Yum! It was nice and spicy ! The beef was tender! Broth was full of flavor!
Completely underrated deliciousness. Perfectly spiced slices of lamb. I always get this. Never disappointed.
This is one of the most delicious dishes I've tried, the spice level is just right. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an alternative to a meat-based dish.
The chicken is fried so nicely, it's probably the best general tso's that I've had.
This is my non-spicy go-to that's delish, but not too out there for my more hesitant to eat preserved foods friends. There are A LOT of noodles, so recommend sharing.
Pork with garlic sauce most wonderful ~ very much enjoyed black fungus mushrooms that came with. Hot and sour soup best around !
This is the most authentic Mapo Tofu in all of Seattle. You can tell because the spices almost leave your mouth with a numbing feeling. 100% my favorite thing to order and I will be coming back soon for more. :-)
Forget about the wait at Din Tai Fun. These dumplings are better, WAY better. So yummy! Quick to order and great service!
